Sundays With Tabs the Cat, makeup and charm blog Mascot, Vol. 603

It’s planting time this year! We didn’t truly feel like growing a garden last year, because planting season was around the time Tabs passed, but we’ve always enjoyed building our bit deck gardens, and Tabs did too. He had rather a green thumb.

He just liked hanging out around the garden and the world of plants we developed every year on the deck. It’s a little area back there, but we’ve handled to do a great deal with it.

There was catnip galore, peppers, a cat turf nibbling and napping area, a zinnia snack bar, a parsley appetizer area, and a gerbera daisy all-you-can-eat buffet.

We didn’t feel rather as ambitious this year, partly because it was more challenging to procure all the plants, and also because Rosie didn’t take charge of the landscape design like Tabs did, but we did handle to plant some tomatoes, yellow squash, basil, lettuce, catnip, zinnia, gerberas and a little patch of cat grass.

I believe Tabs would be proud. ? These pics are from past years, but I’ll publish some pics of this year’s garden soon.

Rosie put her math skills to work designing a new irrigation system for us. now we have automatic drip watering that works on a timer, and Rosie states it’ll truly enhance our catnip yields. ?
